What Does God Says
Introduction
Jn 17:23 OOYLT
I in them, and Thou in me, that they may be perfected into one, and that the world may know that
Thou didst send me, and didst love them as Thou didst love me.
God wants His People to be in unity so that the world may know that Jesus came and died for our
sins. He does not want disagreements in the body of Christ about various topics. Disagreements
arise because believers are not seeking God for His Opinion. When dealing with controversial
topics, believers need to seek God for His Opinion, not rely on the many voices around them.
God speaks directly to us
It is true that God speaks to us via scripture, dreams, visions, trances, Holy Spirit Illuminations,
other people, circumstances, etc. But the most reliable way is to obtain God's Opinion is to have
a conversation with God by hearing His Audible Voice. In the bible, we see God speaks directly to
-
Adam & Eve (Gen 3:9-13, 16-19)
-
Noah (Gen 6:13-21, 7:1-4, 8:15-17, 9:1-17)
-
Abram/Abramham (Gen 12:1-3, Gen 15:1, 4-5, 7, 9-11, 13-16, Gen 17:1-2, 4-16, 19-21, etc)
-
Issac (Gen 26:2-5, 24)
-
Jacob/Israel (Gen 35:1, 10-11, Gen 46:2-4)
-
Moses (Ex 3-4:17,21-23, Ex 6:1-8, 29, Ex 7:1-5, etc)
-
Samuel (1 Sam 3:1-14, 1 Sam 8:7-9, 22, etc)
-
Elijah (1 Ki 17: 2-4, 9, 1 Ki 18:1, etc)
-
Apostle Paul (Acts 9:3-6, Acts 19:9-10, etc)
-
Apostle John (Rev)

and many others.
Jn 10:1-5 OOYLT
`Verily, verily, I say to you, He who is not entering through the door to the fold of the sheep, but
is going up from another side, that one is a thief and a robber; and he who is entering through the
door is shepherd of the sheep; to this one the doorkeeper doth open, and the sheep hear his voice,
and his own sheep he doth call by name, and doth lead them forth; and when his own sheep he may put
forth, before them he goeth on, and the sheep follow him, because they have known his voice; and a
stranger they will not follow, but will flee from him, because they have not known the voice of
strangers.'
Jn 10:27 OOYLT
My sheep my voice do hear, and I know them, and they follow me,
Believers can talk with God as they talk to an earthy friend. God desires to speak to His People
one to one. The communication problem is on the side of the believers (sins, busyness, scared of
God, etc).
God's Opinion never contradicts His Written Word (scripture). If they do, then question the
voice (Are you hearing what you want to hear? Are you hearing evil voices? etc?). Spend time
studying God's Word. The more you know, the more discernment you can have.
Are You Chicken or like Joshua?
Ex 19:7-8a OOYLT
And Moses cometh, and calleth for the elders of the people, and setteth before them all these words
which Jehovah hath commanded him; and all the people answer together and say, `All that Jehovah hath
spoken we do;'
Ex 20:18-19 OOYLT
And all the people are seeing the voices, and the flames, and the sound of the trumpet, and the
mount smoking; and the people see, and move, and stand afar off, and say unto Moses, `Speak thou
with us, and we hear, and let not God speak with us, lest we die.'
Ex 33:11 OOYLT
And Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses face unto face, as a man speaketh unto his friend; and he hath
turned back unto the camp, and his minister Joshua, son of Nun, a youth, departeth not out of the
tent.
At Mount Sinai, the Israelites told Moses you meet God, we will do whatever you hear. The
Israelites were scared of meeting with God. And committed the sins of not willing to meet God.
Because they did not want to seek God, they ended up seeking something else. Worshipping the golden
calf was the outward manifestation of the sin of not willing to meet with God. Because they were
not seeking God, eventually they found something else.
Joshua hungered to be with God. He wanted to spend more time with God and be in His Presence.
It is no surprise that God used him mightily after Moses was gone.
Seek God about Various Issues
Are you seeking God about various issues? The reason for divisions in the body of Christ (not just
your congregation, but the entire body of Christ) is because believers fail to obtain God's Opinions
about various issues. Ignore what people are saying and go directly to God. Have a conversation
with God and obtain His Opinion, His Heart, and His Wisdom about many issues that are dividing the
body of Christ.

Go directly to God and get His Opinion about various issues. And understand how he wants you to
deal with the issues.
Some issues are listed below. My opinions are NOT important, but you are welcomed to view them.

Summary
Make it a habit to talk with God about everything. If there is a issue dividing the body of Christ,
especially seek God and obtain His Opinion. Spend time with Him and remove all obstacles (sins,
fear, etc) that hinder you from fellowshipping with Him.
